Product Features
1. ADP is a halogen-free flame retardant based on organic phosphinates. The product achieves its flame retardant effect through intumescence. The thermoplastic polymer with ADP foams and crosslinks on exposure to flame and forms a stable char at the surface acting as a barrier. The protective layer provides a heat insulation effect, reduces oxygen access and prevents dripping of molten polymer.
2. ADP is white particles. The product is not hygroscopic and is insoluble in water and common organic solvents like acetone, dichloromethane, MEK, toluene. The flame retardant is not hydrolyzed, not precipitated, has good self-extinguishing properties into carbon.
Applications
1.ADP is suited as flame retardant for thermoplastics and thermosets. It has high phosphorus content, good thermal stability and excellent flame retardant efficiency.
2.As a flame retardant, ADP can be used alone, can also be used with other flame retardants, both can play a good effect.
3. Application conditions:Processing temperature should not exceed 350.
