BDO/ 1,4-Butanediol, CAS Number: 110-63-4 Used as solvent and humidifier, also used in plasticizer, medicine, polyester resin, polyurethane resin and so on. Used as a chromatographic reagent and also in organic synthesis. 1, 4-butanediol is widely used. In the United States and Western Europe more than half of the production of tetrahydrofuran, followed by the production of ? -butyrolactone and polybutylene terephthalate, the latter is a rapidly developing engineering plastics; 1, 4-butanediol is used as chain extender and polyester raw material to produce polyurethane elastomers and soft polyurethane foams.
